Palmerston North 2023
The 97th NZART Annual Conference and AGM is being held in Palmerston North over Kings Birthday weekend 3–4 June 2023.Location is the Millennium Copthorne Hotel, 110 Fitzherbert Avenue, Palmerston North.
The conference will commence on Saturday the 3 June at 9:00 am and conclude Sunday 4 June after the evening dinner.
Registrations will be open from 9:00 am on the Saturday with morning tea served at 9:30 am.
An alternative program will be run on both days.

Alternative Programme
Saturday morning – After morning tea at the conference venue, we head to The Herb Farm to hear about the healing properties of herbs and to create our own individualised cream to take home using herbal extracts. We can also wander around the herb garden.Lunch will be at the attached café.
In the afternoon we will stop for a quick viewing of the Catholic Cathedral of the Holy Spirit – beautiful stained glass and interior. Then onto the Victoria Esplanade Gardens - Central Energy Trust Wildbase Recovery centre, Peter Black Conservatory (hot house garden), aviaries, 2.2 km miniature railway you might like to ride, and afternoon tea at the cafe.
Return to the venue around 4:00 pm.
Sunday morning –after morning tea at the conference venue a visit to the Te Manawa Museum with an optional visit to the Rugby Museum next door. We then head to Foxton, a small Dutch community, where we will visit to the quilting shop, have a tour of the Flax Stripping Museum, visit the de Molen working windmill (optional to climb to the top floor to see the flour milling). There is an interesting museum and art gallery detailing early Foxton.
We will have lunch at Foxton and afternoon tea at Foxton Beach.
Return to the venue around 4:00 pm.
